Shaping the Shape research – Exhibition Stand Design

Custom Modular stand design in Norwich

When the John Innes Centre were invited to present their cutting edge research at the Summer Science Exhibition in London, they turned to GGS for a custom solution that would showcase their work and stand them apart from other exhibitors. Being Scientists and Researchers, ( and so more technical than graphically creative 😉 ), they decided to get someone to do it for them. They knew what they wanted to present, knew their research & findings but needed some fresh insight to really give them the edge at the show. After some coffee, biscuits and a bit of a chat, Duncan, our exhibitions Director, came up… Read more »

From bore inspiring to awe inspiring

fork lift stacking shredded paper in factory

The three most important things about getting a good photograph are lighting, lighting and, you guessed it, lighting. Framing and composition are also important, but whether it’s a portrait, a landscape shot, a product picture, or an aerial shot, the thing that really makes a photograph is the light. Stand out in a field somewhere and take a shot of a view. Do it again from the same spot every couple of hours starting at 6.00 in the morning and finish at 8.00 in the evening and though you will have the same subject, framing and composition in every picture,… Read more »
