Yesterday, we took an exhibition stand again at the B2B exhibition, basically as a ‘flag-waving’ opportunity, but were amazed at the number of visitors and level of interest in our services. We were rushed off our feet all morning with new enquiries and meeting some existing clients.
Ours was a fairly simple exhibition stand using our Vario D400 pop-up system, to which we added a custom made desk attached at the side. Whilst we didn’t expect to win ‘best stand’ yet again (*smug grin) for such a simple stand, it was the design of our graphics that set us apart – if we say so ourselves.
We nearly didn’t go because we are so busy with other projects but glad we did as, besides making some valuable new contacts, it’s good to make friends with other similar companies and compare notes. We can all help each other in various ways and there’s enough work out there for all of us.
There was also a very professional presentation from Jake Humphrey, of F1 and Olympics fame, to promote the ‘sponsor a gorilla’ for Break Charity. He’s such a nice chap, the money almost flew out of my wallet! (Notice he said ‘almost’! – Ed.)
Just got to follow up all the enquiries now, which is what makes it all worthwhile.
