You've got your new site... now let's publish it!
The GGS design and build process has created a brand new site for you. It looks good and functions well - and it has all the facilities that you require. It has also been prepared in such a way as to be search engine friendly. Throughout the construction process you have had access to the development space on which your new site has resided since it was conceived and you have watched it grow. Together we have carefully adjusted it, tested it and we know it works. So what next?
Well now is the time for your new site to move to its own space and be published for the world to see.
Replacing an existing website on the net
If your new site will be replacing an old one - this will be a simple process of deleting the old one and uploading the new one to the space that it once occupied. Your existing domain name will remain in position as the primary web address, so there will be no need to change any details on your stationery or sales literature and your existing email account/s will not be affected in any way. All we need from you are a few details regarding your existing hosted space. Alternatively, you may decide that the time is right to take advantage of one of the competitive hosting options that we can offer you. With us providing your hosting facilities everything would be managed by us, we would upload your new site direct to your new commercial grade space and arrange for your existing domain name to be transferred to it. This is normally a simple process that would only take a day or so to complete, maybe a little longer if its a '.com'address.

Establishing a new website on the net
If this is your first website then we would need to provide you with a new domain name and assign it to new commercial grade hosted space. If you've already registered a domain name yourself this is no problem, we would upload your new site direct to your new commercial grade space and arrange for your existing domain name to be transferred to it. This is normally a simple process that would only take a day or so to complete, maybe a little longer if its a '.com'address. We will guide you through the whole process and before you know it your new website will be on-line and attracting visitors!
So what next?
Your new site has been published and is now attracting visitors, but is there anything that can be done to attract more visitors? Well yes, there are various ways to generate more traffic to your new site. Making people aware that your site exists is vital, otherwise it will be lost in the crowd! We use the latest hardware and software to ensure the highest quality results. But rather like a seedling, it will be important to nurture your new site, helping it to flourish. One of the best ways to do this will be to ensure that your domain name (website address) is publicised wherever possible... on your stationery, marketing material and any future promotional items - to help get the word around. We will continue to monitor the results of the initial submission to major search engines and advise you of any further recommended actions if required. It will be important to keep your new site looking fresh, nothing is worse than a site that conveys outdated information. With this in mind we will advise you of various ways in which your site can be updated in the future, either by us or by you. And unlike many providers, we have been established for nearly thirty years and will continue to provide you with support long after others have come and gone.
