Based in Norwich, Norfolk, England, GGS has been established for over 40 years and works with companies of all sizes to improve their image and provide all the media they need to successfully market themselves.

After spending a number of years in the Royal Navy, Duncan joined GGS back in 1985 and became Director in 1989. Exhibitions Director Duncan is an expert in his field, designing award winning exhibition stands for our clients. Duncan’s creative mind when designing stands means anything the client wants can be achieved, no job is too big or too small for Duncan and he always comes up with an effective and creative solution. No destination is too far for building the stands either, with Duncan and the team jetting off to stand builds not just in the UK and Europe but as far away as Cape Town and Egypt too! If you have a stand space booked at an upcoming show and need a show stopping stand design, Duncan and his team are here to create it for you.

Creative Director Chris has been working in the photography and creative industry for almost 40 years, being a qualified member of the British Institute of Professional Photography, he is at home behind a camera lens. Chris’s passion for photography, attention to detail and creativeness means stunning and unique images are achieved for our clients. If professional and beautiful images are needed for your marketing then Chris is your man!

Studio Manager Em has been at GGS for 10 years now, having started as a quiet 18 year old straight out of college. The quietness has definitely changed and she likes to keep everyone on their toes (including the Directors - who are a bit scared of her) to ensure all work is being done to the highest standard and delivered on time. Having an extensive product knowledge, Em’s expertise is in the portable display equipment range. If you are after banners or pop-up stands for your exhibition then Em is the one to talk to.

How long have you worked for GGS?
Started as a youngster fresh out of college and have now been here 10 years this year.
What did you do before GGS?
I had just finished studying my A Levels at Sixth Form whilst working part time in our local Co-op.
What is your favourite book?
A Time to Kill by John Grisham and pretty much every book ever written by James Patterson, I own around 70 James Patterson novels.
What is your favourite colour?
Red
What are you scared of?
I have a completely irrational fear of Spiders!!

Paul our Print Manager also started GGS as a fresh faced youngster, but has now been with the Company for over 25 years. Paul’s attention to detail means that all print jobs are produced to the highest of standards. His extensive product knowledge in print media, means we are always able to come up with solutions for clients’ print requirements, whether this be display equipment, outdoor signage, wallpaper or fine art reproductions. Paul is also a dab hand in sketch up, designing our Exhibition stands with Duncan so clients can visualise the stand builds right from the start.

Kate started as our Design Apprentice back in 2013 and she was so talented we decided to keep her on when the apprenticeship ended. Being an incredibly friendly and approachable person, Kate has built up really good relationships with all clients she deals with at GGS. Her creative flair also means that new fresh ideas are presented and the finished designs meet each client’s brief. If you are after innovative, beautiful, creative design for literature, displays, websites or simply just artwork to brighten up your office walls, Kate is on hand to help.

How long have you worked for GGS?
I started about three years ago.
What did you do before GGS?
I attended University for a short time and studied Psychology. After two months of being asked if I could read minds I quit and worked in an electrical store before starting my graphic design apprenticeship at GGS.
What is your favourite book or film?

Rick Browne

Exhibitions Coordinator

Having spent 12 years jetting around the world with the RAF, Exhibitions Coordinator Rick, decided on a complete career change and went on to study Photography at Blackpool university. Initially joining GGS back in 2006 to help out with photography and in our finishing department, Rick’s role has developed with our constantly expanding exhibitions division. Rick oversees all stand designs, working with clients to submit all paperwork required for the shows, prebuilding stands in our studio to make sure everything is perfect, before finally hitting the road to deliver and build the stands at the shows all over the UK and Europe.

Mounting Technician Andrew has been with GGS since the year dot and is an expert in our finishing department. Andrew finishes all of our print work and knows everything there is to know about mounting anything onto anything. We are also yet to see anyone stretch a canvas wrap as quickly as Andrew can. As well as finishing all of your beautiful graphics for you, Andrew also helps out with the building of our Exhibition stands and is on hand to help out wherever he is needed.

Jay joined GGS in 2014 and has been training in our Exhibitions department, and now has a good knowledge of stand building. Over the last year Jay has become competent in the finishing department and is always on hand to help out Andrew. As well as building the stands here at GGS, Jay travels with Duncan and Rick to all of our UK and European exhibitions to assist on stand builds and breakdowns.

Nikita is new to the team here at GGS having started in January as our new admin apprentice. Here to help our Studio Manager Emily, Nikita is learning the ropes to help run the GGS office. Nikita is settling in well with the team and is eager to learn, she is already a valuable asset to the team. The first point of contact on the phone, you are always sure to be greeted with a happy cheery voice when you call in.

How long have you worked for GGS?
I started January 2017 on a Business Administration Apprenticeship.
What did you do before GGS?
Studied A levels at City College and worked in temp positions whilst looking for the right apprenticeship.
What is your favourite book or film?
I don’t have a favourite book, but a favourite series, Fallen by Lauren Kate.
What is your favourite colour?
Purple
What are you scared of?
Clowns, spiders and blood tests!
